of brewery's, but to say I know them well would be a lie. Often times I'm just
running in briefly to talk business and never really get to experience the whole
brewery from decor, snacks, clientele and of corse the beer. However, one
brewery stuck out to me and got my pick for "first brewery event since being in
North County", and that is my beloved "Booze Brothers!" Our event was this last
Saturday night (February 22, 2014) and to say it was a success would be an
understatement. We had many regular members of the Women's Craft Beer
Collective attend but what I wasn't expecting was how many people (men and
women) who approached me and asked to participate in the event!! Thankfully our
pastry chef Beau Bonham from Truffle Trike had made many sets of desserts over
what we had planned for. We were spoiled with four very elegant tastings that
paired perfectly with four pre-determined beers on tap. We continued on with
our favorite brews, and with some pints starting @$3.00 we realized that there
was no reason to even leave!!
The family unity is strong at this one! From the "brothers" that own it,
the family members that work the taps on a volunteer basis and the darling
Mother of these fine fellows, who is there for what ever task they need
help with and is always approachable and appreciative.
Well I have a couple people
in my life that need a good party thrown for
them this Summer, and I know
that now I have the perfect venue for them to
next time, Cheers!
